Scouting Sunday – February 8
Join us this Sunday as we honor our Scouts! All three of our Scout Troops will participate in the service, sharing inspiring stories from both youth members and their dedicated leaders.
Ash Wednesday Services – February 18
Begin the Lenten season with us. We will offer two services:
- Noon: Ash-giving Devotional in the Fellowship Hall
- 7:00 PM: Evening Service in the Sanctuary
Celebrating Black History Month – February 22
In celebration of Black History Month, we are pleased to host a special service featuring a professional Jazz Trio (trumpet, guitar, and bass). They will perform African spirituals, and we will be joined by Dr. Tom Manuel of Stony Brook University, who will share an inspiring testimonial message.
Pumpkin Festival
Our annual Pumpkin Festival is a beloved fall tradition that brings together families from across the community for a day of wholesome fun and fellowship. Enjoy pumpkin painting, hayrides, a petting zoo, face painting, crafts, live music, delicious pie, a labyrinth walk, and exciting prizes.
This free event is open to everyone in town—we’d love to see you there!

TV and Movie Shoots
The UMC is the perfect backdrop for film and movie shoots. Just a 40-minute direct train ride from Manhattan and under 25 miles from midtown, our expansive grounds and distinctive spaces have been used in numerous productions. Our historic architecture and serene setting provide authentic character for a variety of projects.
